Cultural competence: It’s all about clinical awareness (December 6, Tukwila WA)

This brief workshop for interns and post-docs who are part of the National Internship Training Consortium in the Pacific Northwest, will invite early career psychologists to consider how they and their work are affected by systemic forms of bias and oppression. We will utilize a model of developing cultural humility and compassionate self-awareness to move toward greater competence in practice with clients across the range of intersectional identities.
