Motivated forgetting and misremembering: Perspectives from Betrayal Trauma Theory

This chapter describes recent research in and applications of Betrayal Trauma Theory (BTT). It discusses how the BTT model has explicated relationships between trauma and memory where interpersonal betrayal has been a factor in trauma.
